Save The Date postcards have been mailed to those members without email addresses and email notifications were sent to those with email access. Please spread the word that the Epilepsy Walk OC is April 24, 2010 and ask them to visit our webpage to learn about it.

Fundraising Tools

Each walker is asked to raise money from friends and family, coworkers, business acquaintances, association members, etc. The money raised will continue our programs and services, free of charge, for 2010/11 to the Orange County community. Good luck on exceeding your personal participation goals!

Online Registration and Team Building

Sorry you can't make the Epilepsy Walk OC, but you can become a Virtual Walker! You can raise awareness about our organization and the event with the use of the walk's website tools. Click "Register" and "Join as an Individual," enter your information and select "Virtual Walker." By registering as a virtual walker you may create and HQ webpage and email contacts to send them to our walk page.

For those of you who prefer going online to register, we will be using a fundraising site, Blackbaud, in the next few weeks. You may check back here for the website link or you may sign up for the email updates here and we will notify you.

Get your Registration/Sponsor Form

Registration/Sponsor Forms will be mailed out in the next couple of days so be sure to look for it in your mailbox.

Use this form to collect sponsorships as you are out and about. Take it to the stores you frequent, the kid's activities, and family get togethers - it's a quick and easy way to raise awareness about epilepsy and our organization.

Registration/Sponsor Forms are a convenient and motivating tool to aid in your fundraising efforts. Carry yours with you as you frequent local businesses, meet with friends and solicit neighbors for this cause.

The forms mailing has been pushed back and will now be available the first week of April. If you are on our mailing list, one should arrive no later than April 5, 2010, so make sure we have your current information. Call 714.916.0456 or email us.

Join the Epilepsy Support Network Orange County for our first Annual Epilepsy Walk of Orange County, “Small Steps BIG HEART” on April 24, 2010 at TeWinkle Park in Costa Mesa.

Epilepsy Walk OC is the Epilepsy Support Network's largest fundraiser in support of the essential programs and services offered, free of charge, to the Orange County community. The walk is a pledge-driven, non-competitive event engaging people affected by epilepsy and their friends and family.

The Epilepsy Walk OC is our rallying point – not only to help raise critical funds that support cutting edge educational programs, advocacy for change and vital support services to assist people with Epilepsy in moving their lives forward, but also serves to increase epilepsy awareness throughout the general population and is a wonderful way to spend the day with friends and family.
